Relational Body - Ged Sumner - diskuze

In this innovative and creative exploration of the human body, this book explores the role of biodynamic touch in relation to physical and mental health. Through subtle but meaningful shifts in perceptions around human nature, manual therapists will benefit from practical guidance on the process of embodiment and stimulating the body's natural healing response. Ged Sumner delves into the ways we can develop our sense awareness, particularly in relation to our body's connective tissue systems, and access the richness of feeling found in clearer interoception and exteroception.Using a trauma-informed approach with a focus on safety, Ged Sumner examines how touch can be a healing force that can be used to facilitate a form of release. Practitioners will learn from the latest research on touch whilst also learning how to develop a deeply empathic understanding of their clients.
