Celebrating the awe and wonder of the Arctic Circle region through visual art from the 19th and 20th centuries. Vast, impenetrable coniferous forests, "white" summer nights, the perpetual darkness of snowy winters and the famous aurora borealis—the Arctic Circle is a fascinating, if unforgiving, region.
