Romanian crime comedy written and directed by Corneliu Porumboiu. In preparation for their next job, corrupt Bucharest policeman Cristi Vlad Ivanov and criminal Gilda Catrinel Marlon are sent to the island of La Gomera in the Canaries to learn an ancient whistling language, allowing them to communicate undetected while attempting to free her boyfriend Zsolt Sabin Tambrea from prison.
