The North is Another Country - Andrew Trimbee - diskuze

Pete Mitchell had everything - a thriving business empire, a luxurious home and a hand in brokering world peace. But as he unwinds in his garden, he has no idea that everything is about to go wrong - badly wrong. It all began in a backstreet bedroom in 1970s Yorkshire, where Pete and his group of friends set out with nothing but ambition and a daring idea. What started as a makeshift dating service soon turned into a business empire. Pete Mitchell and his gang never expected their matchmaking venture, Call Cupid, to explode into a money-making machine. As their fortunes grow, so do their ambitions - luxury cars, elite connections and investment opportunities that push them into circles they never imagined. But as Pete juggles business with a deepening involvement in international affairs, his path takes an unexpected turn - one that leads him from the boardrooms of London to the heart of the Middle East conflict.
