According to usual standards, Blanka is a little girl from a working-class family similar to thousands of others in Prague. Her father is an alcoholic, her mother an invalid, confined to a hospital bed. But who, really, is this little girl who is not quite five years old? Has she really come to Earth from Nauhir, a planet she so often speaks about enthusiastically?
