Set in Le Puy in the South of France, it follows the story of widowed Englishwoman Mrs Thompson and her two daughters; Lilian who is attending school in the area, and her younger daughter Mimmy. During their stay, Mrs Thompson catches the eye of Frenchman Monsieur Lacordaire, but is the gentleman all that he seems?
