The author was inspired by personal experiences during his university studies in the Netherlands. The fresh student story offers a unique testimony about the inner world, joys and confusions of the soul, about the hard days of a young man who stepped out into the world from a safe family shelter. Together with the author, we experience exciting and relaxing moments in The Hague, demanding work commitments, consistently bad weather, challenging studies, troubles with the pandemic, and also a slowly strengthening relationship with the country that temporarily became his home.
