Slay Bells Ring - Mona Marple - diskuze

Sequins, Snowfall, and a Winter Ball MurderI rang in the New Year in Candy Cane Hollow on Nick Claus's arm, ready to call this twinkling town home. Then the giant glitter ball at the Winter Ball crashed onto Greasy, the grumpiest elf chef in town, and the music stopped cold. Chief Superintendent Wiggles says "tragic accident", but I've seen enough to spot a staged scene. Greasy collected enemies the way others collect ornaments, and someone climbed those beams with murder in mind. With Mrs. Claus by my side, I sift through sequins, secrets, and suspects. Gilbert--the over-helpful house-elf at Claus Cottage--keeps popping up with 'assistance' while Nick keeps the cocoa flowing. From staircase lurkers to rivals with sticky fingers, we follow every lead. We need the truth on the table before the New Year's Day luncheon, and before the elf police cuff the wrong person. Slay Bells Ring is the second book in the Candy Cane Hollow Christmas Cozy Mystery series. A warm, magical, and clean holiday whodunit for fans of Hallmark-style cozies and anyone who wishes they could spend Christmas in Santa's own hometown. ________________________________________Praise for Slay Bells Ring:5 out of 5 stars "I love the characters and the Christmas town setting... fantastic mystery!"5 out of 5 stars "These cute mysteries are so good... very entertaining and once again I didn't see the whodunit."5 out of 5 stars "A delight to read... built on all the wonderful coziness of Christmas Corpse.
