The two-volume definitive resource of prints by postwar American artist Richard Diebenkorn   While he is renowned for a painting practice that spanned abstract and representational works, Richard Diebenkorn (1922–1993) also worked simultaneously in other media. Throughout his fifty-year career he actively pursued printmaking, achieving unparalleled mastery of the medium. The first volume examines the history and role of printmaking in the artist’s practice and features an illustrated chronology, biographies of his printmaking collaborators, and an exhibition history. The second volume illustrates and thoroughly documents the artist’s more than four hundred prints.
