When young boy David Joey Lawrence visits his father and stepmother in California he witnesses strange activity from electrical appliances and becomes convinced that an electromagnetic pulse with paranormal intelligence is threatening to kill him and his family. Although initially dismissive about his claims it isn't long before the Rockland family realise that their lives are in danger.
