Primary Practice Maths Reception Question Book, Ages 4-5 - Schofield & Sims, Sarah-Anne Fernandes

Schofield & Sims Primary Practice is the must-have series for mastery of the English and maths curriculums. With high expectations for all learners, these books use a structured approach to ensure children develop a deep understanding of key knowledge and skills. Pupils work through a mixture of lively questions and activities to keep them engaged and on track. Step-by-step practice ensures that learning is fully embedded while varied question types encourage fluency and build confidence. Dedicated tracing and copying activities encourage children to learn to form every digit correctly, while repeated practice focuses on the key skills of counting, subitising and number bonds to ten. Word problems and puzzles then encourage them to apply their learning in a range of contexts. This workbook provides: remember boxes to introduce the numbers 1 to 20; guided tracing and copying practice to establish correct numeral formation; a final practice section with mixed questions to check progress; online answers with explanations.
