The Oxford Reading Tree Green Sparks series explains and illustrates the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals in an age-appropriate way. The series supports development of all reading skills by combining phonic progression with essential vocabulary, as well as extending the reader's comprehension of the issues around sustainability in global and local contexts. The turtle, Marley, shows her how the bottle had got into the water and also how much pollution there is in the sea. Mila and Marley focuses on UN SDG 14 Life below water.
