Double bill of horrors set on Indian Reservation sites. In 'Nightwing' 1979 suspicions arise when cattle go missing and are later found with strange bite marks. As Deputy Duran Nick Mancuso investigates the case he receives grave warnings about the end of the world being nigh from medicine man Abner Tasupi George Clutesi. Meanwhile, the discovery of oil shales by tribal leader Walker Chee Stephen Macht results in him trying to silence anyone from mentioning the attacks before he is able to make a deal with an oil company and receive profits from mining the area. In 'Shadow of the Hawk' 1976 expert medicine man Old Man Hawk Chief Dan George begins the process of training his grandson, Mike Jan-Michael Vincent, in the arts of black magic that he has learned over the years. Initially sceptical about the potency of Old Man Hawk's powers it isn't long before Mike becomes increasingly convinced of their efficiency as spirits start to haunt him.
