Minka's Menagerie of Friends - Jessica Janowsky

Minka is an eight-year-old girl with cerebral palsy and needs to use a wheelchair. Her life changes as her family moves from Poland to the United States. She has a hard time transitioning at first. Her Babcia (grandmother) helps her by reminding her that when we take the time to get to know others, we can find things we have in common to develop friendships. Through her observations, Minka learns she is not the only one with challenges.
