Love Is All (Kim Longinotto) (DVD)

Documentary showcasing love and romance in films over the last century, directed by Kim Longinotto. Since the introduction of the video camera and the production of moving images, love and courtship have been key topics for film-makers showcasing their work on the screen. This feature uses archive footage from the British Film Institute to document how the theme of love was displayed throughout the ever-changing twentieth century as it witnessed the break-out of war and the birth of youth culture. Amongst the archive footage are the very first kisses caught on camera and the change in attitudes towards the display of same-sex relationships on-screen.
