Lost and Found in Mythology - Clara Booth - diskuze

Young readers are invited to lose themselves on a journey through myths and legends from around the world. Combining the seek-and-find fun of Where's Wally? with the irreverent hilarity of Horrible Histories, this seek-and-find book introduces young readers to the otherworldly characters of ancient myths. Spanning nine different cultures from around the globe, Lost and Found in Mythology puts readers on the battlefield alongside Odin and Thor in The Battle of Ragnarok; above the clouds on Mount Olympus with Zeus and his family; on the forest floor laughing at the cheeky tricks played by kami spirits; and in the fiery presence of India's devis and devas. Each mythology is introduced through its characters – gods, goddesses, monsters, weapons, spirits, ghosts and fairy folk among others – who appear in a busy seek-and-find scene. A second spread extrapolates on the mythology – be it a legend, saga or quest – and explains its significance. The tales in this book are sure to delight young history lovers and bedtime story connoisseurs alike.
