Islam, This is our Faith - Ruth Owen - diskuze

This book introduces young readers to the key aspects of Islam and then shows how this faith is observed by children from several different cultures and countries. Readers will discover the core beliefs of this religion. They will also see how children and their families worship, observe important rituals, take part in weddings, welcome new life, say goodbye at funerals and enjoy the key celebrations of their faith. The book will show that not all Muslims look alike, live in a certain way or live in a particular part of the world. The accessible, lively text is supported by stunning photographs. The book also includes a world map showing where each topic featured in the book takes place.
