High Performance Learning: How to Become a World-Class School - Deborah Eyre

High Performance Learning (HPL) is a ground-breaking pedagogical model that takes what we know from research about how the most successful learners think and learn; creating schools that deliberately focus on building mastery of the key ‘success’ competencies in every student and in every lesson. It can be used in conjunction with any curriculum and provides a coherent but flexible teaching and learning framework to underpin the curriculum. The first edition of this bestselling book introduced the HPL model to schools, and leaders in thousands of schools around the world have found that they can achieve amazing results for the entire school community and a more positive yet ambitious culture across the school. This new edition includes the latest learning science research, as well as case studies drawn from numerous schools implementing the HPL model, including practice examples, quotes from leaders, teachers, students and parents as well as robust impact data.
