Nisha Ganatra directs this drama starring Dakota Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross and Ice Cube. As popular singer Grace Davis Ross's fame reaches an all-time high, she begins to worry about whether she will be capable of evolving her sound and moving in a different direction. Her assistant, Maggie Johnson although inspired by Grace is becoming increasingly frustrated being at her beck and call and has her own aspirations of becoming a music producer. Encouraging Grace to take the leap and try something different despite the objections from her manager, Jack Ice Cube, Maggie begins to work with Grace to help both women realise their ambitions.
