Heartstone (Gumundur Arnar Gumundsson) (DVD)

Icelandic drama written and directed by debut film-maker Gumundur Arnar Gumundsson. The film follows the coming-of-age of best friends r Baldur Einarsson and Kristjn Blr Hinriksson in their remote, coastal community. As they both try to escape their families and the boredom of their small village, r strikes up the courage to pursue a romance with Beta Dilj Valsdttir while Kristjn wrestles with his own fluctuating feelings for his best friend.
