William McGregor directs this gothic drama set during the Industrial Revolution and centred on the struggles of a young woman attempting to keep her family together despite continuous tragedy and the occurrence of strange events. Gwen Eleanor Worthington-Cox must find a way to overcome the perpetual darkness in her life while attempting to keep at bay the sinister fate that lays ahead for her and her loved ones.
