Exploring the Giraffe Pattern and Others Like It - Eve Heidi Bine-Stock - diskuze

A photographic introduction to the Voronoi tessellation in nature. This pattern is more commonly known as the "giraffe pattern," but it appears in many different places in nature, as this book shows. An illustrated giraffe is our guide through this study, which includes a simple explanation of how the pattern forms, and the math behind the geometric structure (both of which are illustrated, for easy understanding). This is the first book to be written on this subject, and is a welcome addition to the genre of books on "patterns in nature for kids."Buy now and enjoy!
