Dogma: The Screenplay - Kevin Smith - diskuze

The screenplay for Dogma, written and directed by Kevin Smith, starring Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Linda Fiorentino, George Carlin, Chris Rock, Salma Hayek, and Alan Rickman, reissued to mark the 25th anniversary resurrection of the movie with a 4K remaster worldwide release.Released in 1999, director/writer/star Kevin Smith’s ribald, revolutionary film Dogma celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2025 with a worldwide release of the 4K remaster in theaters and on home entertainment. In a statement marking the film’s 25th anniversary “resurrection”, director Kevin Smith said, “Religion is a sensitive subject, but so is humor, and Dogma aimed to bring both into the same space with heart, wit, and reverence for irreverence.” Experience that on the page with this reissue of the original script. Dogma follows two fallen angels, Bartleby (Ben Affleck) and Loki (Matt Damon), who discover a loophole in Catholic doctrine that could allow them to return to Heaven, threatening the very fabric of existence. To stop them, a group of unlikely heroes—including a faith-struggling woman (Linda Fiorentino), the erased 13th Apostle (Chris Rock), and Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith)—must prevent the apocalypse. With irreverent humor and sharp satire, Dogma explores faith, salvation, and the human experience.
