Dark Skies: Select Readings in Therapeutic Astrology (Kochunas Brad)(Paperback)

The title of this book, DarkSkies, comes from the idea that during the day we are often blinded by themetaphorical light of ego and self-interest. It is thevast blackness of the night sky that allows us to peer more deeply into thepresence of the planetary deities that inhabit not only the heavens, but alsoour internal world as portrayed in our astrology charts. Therapeuticastrology is a vibrant branch within humanistic astrology, where we viewimaginal gods like Venus, goddess of love, Mars, god of war, and Pluto, lord ofthe Underworld at play in our lives and discover what their claims may be uponus. This sensitive collection of thought-provoking essays draws together muchof Brad Kochunas' work which has appeared online and in a wide variety ofpublications. Astrologers working with clients on a therapeutic basis will findmuch here to contemplate and to enrich their practice, while anyone with aninterest in the human psyche will be fascinated by the author's insights.
