From ethnicity and gender to social class and formal education, the layers of our identity influence every part of our lives, but discussing these layers in the therapeutic space can feel complex and daunting. Easy-to-follow creative activities delve through the intersecting layers of identity, helping clients to explore their own narrative through art. Prompts for reflection encourage open discussion between therapists and clients, creating a framework for conversations that engage with every part of the client's experience. This book offers a vital scaffolding, with downloadable content that supports therapists to open complex conversations through creativity, to help clients explore the layers of their identity.
