Collectors Street - Yeonju Yang, Claudia Ripol - diskuze

Following a young narrator on their walk to school, readers are invited to peek inside the extraordinary homes of the neighbors. The book's multi-flap architecture allows children to physically "open" each house, revealing intricate, floor-to-floor illustrations of the treasures hidden within:Art Collector Fred, who lives in a gallery of masterpieces. Postman Pablo, whose home is overflowing with stamps and messenger birds. Zoologist Elena, who shares her living room with a beehive and a sock-wearing centipede. Botanist Nina, who has traded her vacuum for a lawnmower to tend to her grass carpets. From Mechanic Sota's car-park house to Nuno's towering bookshop, every spread is a "search-and-find" playground filled with witty details, like tea served from watering cans or dandelions in frying pans. Collectors Street is more than just a book; it's a celebration of individuality. It teaches young readers that while we all collect different things, it is our shared passion and curiosity that bring a neighborhood to life. Playful, rhythmic, and visually dazzling, it is the perfect addition to any little collector's shelf.
