Each day’s devotion therefore begins with a verse of scripture and is followed by a brief exposition to exhort and encourage believers to continue walking with God. Dated from 1st January to 31st December, and drawing on verses from throughout the Bible, Spurgeon assures readers of the necessity and relevance of God’s word for each and every day.
