Cat and Dumpling: The Super-Duper Shop - Nicola Kent - diskuze

The fourth book in Nicola Kent's charming series brings another warm, funny adventure for young readers discovering the joy of chapter books. Packed with vibrant full-colour illustrations and gentle humour, this story is ideal for early readers gaining confidence and ready to move beyond picture books. Cat and Dumpling are the very best of friends, but they could not be more different. Cat is an impulsive dreamer who loves to knit and leap into any new adventure, while Dumpling is a thoughtful gardener who prefers to plan carefully. The pair's far-fetched schemes and conflicting ideas wreak warm-hearted slapstick havoc, but always with a happy ending and a reassertion that, despite their differences, Cat and Dumpling will always be the best of friends. In The Super-Duper Shop, Cat returns from a trip to the supermarket bursting with inspiration. She decides to open her very own shop, complete with signs, displays and grand ideas. Dumpling is impressed and happily agrees to help. There's just one small problem: they have absolutely nothing to sell. As the pair scramble to find items, customers, and a purpose for their tabletop sale, things go from bad to worse, with funny mishaps. Will their shop close before they've even made a sale?
