Recorded live at Amsterdam's Het Musiektheater in January 2008, this lavishly stylised version of Rameau's libretto tells the story of the self-sacrificing love between two brothers, one mortal and the other immortal. Staged by Pierre Audi and conducted by Christophe Rousset, the production stars Finnur Bjarnason and Henk Neven in the title roles.
