Bone Idol - Ben Ramage - diskuze

Jimmy Bone was an unsung cult hero of Scottish football. The clubs he played for idolised him. He entered an incredible four Halls of Fame – St Mirren, Partick Thistle, Arbroath and Norwich City – and was beloved at other clubs, including his boyhood team, Hearts. He won silverware as a player and manager across his native Scotland and beyond, with his later years as a coach allowing him to share his wisdom with aspiring managers and children from disadvantaged backgrounds. From scoring in a League Cup final while still working part-time down a mine, to being signed by iconic managers Sir Alex Ferguson and Jock Stein and making his Scotland debut in Brazil, this is the definitive, unfiltered story of Jimmy – mostly told in his own words and through those who knew him best, including Alan Rough, John Robertson and Paul Lambert.
