Betjeman Revisited (DVD)

In 1962 Poet Laureate John Betjeman made six television programmes, each eulogizing the buildings of a different town. Three retain the original soundtrack, whilst Nigel Hawthorne narrates on the others, drawing from Betjeman's original script. The areas looked at are 'Swindon and North Lew' 'Chippenham and Crewkerne' 'Devizes' 'Sherborne' 'Sidmouth' and 'Bath'.
