Discover Angel Otero’s remarkable artistic practice in this new publication examining recent developments in his groundbreaking work. Working in a signature process of painting in reverse on acrylic sheets, scraping off the resulting “skins” of oil paint, and collaging them onto canvas, Puerto Rican artist Angel Otero has intertwined the act of painting with the act of remembering.
