The RAM Mounts GDS Uni-Conn docking station is a free-standing dock designed for devices enclosed in an IntelliSkin Next-Gen, IntelliSkin Hard Case, or IntelliSkin Thin-Case with a mounted GDS Uni-Conn adapter. This solution can swivel 180 degrees and allows the device to tilt 180 degrees, making it ideal for customer-centric industries like retail, hospitality, food service, and more. The snap-in holder keeps your device securely in place while enabling fast charging via the integrated pogo pins, with power supplied through a Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection over a RJ45 port while the two USB-A ports on the back support up to two input devices like keyboard, mouse, scanner gun, and more. The docking station features a weighted base and rubber pads that prevent it from sliding on surfaces. It also supports an easy docking and undocking process: Insert the tablet with the IntelliSkin protective sleeve and mounted GDS Uni-Conn adapter into the base of the dock and push it back until it snaps into place. To remove it, simply press the lever to release the tablet. For the docking station to function, the GDS Uni-Conn adapter (RAM-GDS-U1U) must be mounted on the compatible IntelliSkin protective sleeve.
