Prague is a city that combines age and beauty. The same can be said of its remarkable system of trams. One of the largest networks in the world, it features classic locally built Tatra T3s in various guises, Soviet-era cars of a general design that were to be found all over the Eastern bloc in the days of the Cold War. These PCC-derived machines have been rebuilt and reengineered for the twenty-first century.
