Collins Explore English is a 6-level course which provides full coverage of the Cambridge Primary English as a Second Language curriculum framework (0057) from 2020. With a magazine-style Student’s Resource Book, comprehensive Student’s Coursebook, and supportive Teacher’s Guide, it offers clear progression within and across levels.The Student’s Coursebook is clearly linked to the Student’s Resource Book, both of which are fully supported in the Teacher’s Guide. It follows the same topic-based structure of units as the Resource Book, and includes a wide range of varied activities and exercises related to the input materials to develop and consolidate learning. The Coursebook is designed to be written into, so activities contain structured spaces for learners to record answers. The activities can be used as classroom tasks, for homework or for assessment purposes. The completed tasks give the teacher an opportunity to check work and give feedback. Learners have a consolidated record of their work and parents can see what kind of activities learners are doing in class.The Student’s Coursebook provides opportunities for the learners to consolidate and apply what they have learnt, and to relate what they are learning both to the environment in which they live and beyond, to other contexts.
