A woman's slashed corpse is found in a seedy New Orleans apartment. On the outskirts of town, Olivia has a terrifying vision of the murder. Weeks later, another violent vision shatters her sleep. But jaded detective Bentz doesn't believe her - even when a second body turns up, slain in exactly the same manner Olivia described. Frustrated by Bentz's scepticism, captivated by her attraction to him, Olivia hopes she has had her last vision.
