Madea's Family Reunion

Comedy sequel adapted by Tyler Perry from his own stage play. Perry reprises his role as flowery-aproned, pistol-packing grandmother Madea, who runs into all kinds of problems while planning a reunion for her severely dysfunctional family. The disparate characters Madea is attempting to reconcile include her new charge, rebellious teenage runaway Nikki Keke Palmer, her niece Lisa Rochelle Aytes, who is questioning her upcoming marriage to her abusive fiance Carlos Blair Underwood, and Lisa's half-sister Vanessa Lisa Arrindell Anderson, who is locked in constant battle with her mother Lynn Whitfield while tentatively exploring a new relationship with handsome bus driver Frankie Boris Kodjoe.
